harmony and inhabit grace Life is precious. A gift. Yet it doesn't feel much like a gift when circumstances aren't what you'd like them to be. And it isn't easy to relax, let go, and let the Inner Being handle situations especially when seemingly insurmountable difficulties arise in life experience. As an example, it's very easy to breathe when your lungs function normally. You don't need instruction on how to take in breath and expel stale air. Were maintaining harmony in the feelings as easy as breathing there would be little need for a gentle reminder to acknowledge harmony and inhabit grace. But maintaining harmony isn't as easy as breathing -- not initially at least. This is because of the way the mind interacts with the emotional body. How Awareness Affects Harmony Typically, the first thing you're aware of is a sensation. For example, you get a letter from someone. As soon as you read the return address and before you open it you sense the contents. Your initial instinctive response may be good or bad. If you're expecting a refund check from some group or organization you feel pleasurable emotions as you speedily open the envelop to see exactly how much you've received. Between the time the envelop is opened and its value determined your mind races thru multiple probabilities. You literally feed a full spectrum of thought to the emotional body in microseconds. A full spectrum ranges from positive to negative (or negative to positive) iaster than the speed of light. Now imagine what happens over time if you continue this up/down emotional activity every waking moment of each day unrestrained by a harmonious state of mental awareness. It's conceivable that an emotional body impacted by such wide-ranging swings may cause stressful physical symptoms such as heart ailments to form over time. The way to reduce mental and emotional stress is to acknowledge harmony as your birthright. Such acknowledgement permits your Inner Being to become centered within your daily experience and unfold serenity and peace in your world. Maintain harmony and discover your place in the grand scheme of life. Acknowledge harmony and dwell in the safety, security and comfort of knowing all is indeed well. And how to maintain harmony? Breathe! Become aware and conscious of your breathing. This simple act of awareness allows the ego to relinquish control to the Inner Being. Let the Inner Being be your charioteer Allow your life be governed by Its balanced, harmonious, serene Presence. Permit the mind and heart -- the two horses of your identity -- to advance the chariot (ego) under control of the charioteer (the Inner Being). Know this One as the Master of Self, fully able to guide your identity in each moment to its new destination in safety, comfort, and joy. | ||||
